Make a 60ml Batch of Our Nail Release Elixir (Reusable-Friendly & Non-Acetone)
Share
This 60ml version of our Nail Release Elixir is ideal if you wear press ons regularly or want a convenient refill for smaller dropper bottles. It can be made as a non-acetone or acetone based formula, depending on your removal needs.
The non-acetone version is best for regular to light hold glues. It softens the bond gradually, helping protect both your natural nails and press ons so they can be reused.
The acetone version is intended for ultra strong hold glues or faster removal. It breaks down glue much more quickly, but it will damage press ons and is best used when reuse is not a priority.
Choosing the right formula depends on glue strength and whether you plan to reuse your press ons.

When a 60ml Batch Makes Sense
-
You wear press-ons regularly
-
You want to refill a 10ml dropper bottle
-
You are sharing or making nail care kits
-
You prefer to prep once and save time later
How to Use for Removal
Use the elixir the same way as the smaller version:
-
Apply generously around and underneath the press on
-
Let soak for 10 to 15 minutes
-
For strong hold glue, allow up to 40 minutes
-
Gently lift and reapply elixir as needed
-
Wash and dry press ons before storing
Longer soak times mean easier, safer removal.
Optional: Using Acetone Instead
Acetone can be used if removal needs to happen faster, especially with ultra strong glue.
Important things to know:
-
Acetone will damage or dull press ons
-
It breaks down glue much faster
-
It increases the risk of natural nail dryness
Use acetone only if reuse is not a priority, and always remove gently. Time is safer than force.
