How to Apply Nail Stickers
Step 1: Prep Your Nails
Start with clean, shaped nails. Push back cuticles and lightly buff if needed so the stickers sit flat and look seamless.

Step 2: Clean the Surface
Wipe each nail with 91% rubbing alcohol using a lint-free wipe to remove oils, dust, and residue.
Step 3: Create a Glossy Base
Stickers adhere best to a smooth, shiny surface.
If using gel polish:
-
Fully cure the gel base or color
-
Wipe off the tacky layer with 91% alcohol
If using regular polish:
-
Let color polish dry completely
-
Apply a glossy top coat and let it fully dry
-
Apply stickers over the dry top coat
Do not apply stickers directly over regular base coat.
Step 4: Place the Sticker
Use tweezers or a nail tool to lift the sticker without touching the adhesive. Lightly place it on the nail and adjust before pressing down.
Step 5: Press and Smooth
Press the sticker firmly into place, smoothing from the center outward to remove air bubbles or lifted edges.
Step 6: Add Light Heat (Optional but Recommended)
Gently warm the sticker for a few seconds using a blow dryer or desk heater. Heat softens the vinyl and helps it mold to curved nails and edges for better adhesion.
Step 7: Seal the Design
Apply one to two thin layers of gel base coat over the sticker to lock the design in place and seal the edges.
Once cured, apply a top coat over the entire nail and cap the free edge for protection and shine.
Step 8: File the Tips
After the top coat dries or cures, gently file the free edge to remove excess vinyl or product wrapped under the tip and reseal.
Step 9: Hydrate
Finish with cuticle oil to restore moisture and complete the look.
